Ruby turned six the weekend we were supposed to be moving into our new home. She really wanted a friend party but I knew that would be crazy trying do a big party when everything is packed in boxes and stuff. So we had a little family party and I think it turned out pretty great.

Ruby's school is a "Healthy Eating" School. So we can't bring in cupcakes so I made these and put them on play dough for her to pass out to her school mates. I put them on a cookie sheet just for fun.

I am in LOVE with...

IKEA! I know what you are thinking. Self assembly. Cheap materials. Not in this case. You have to believe me! I have been searching for the perfect bar stools and guess where I found them? I know. They are absolutely perfect for my space the other stools I was considering where bulkier and more masculine. I wanted something a little more feminine for this space and so here they are! Daryl did have to assemble them but he said they seemed really sturdy...we will see what four kids do to them. :)
